3-Year or 4-Year Graduate Entry Programme

  • BNMU, Ukraine welcomes applications from graduates with a science-related Bachelor’s Degree (such as Biomedical Science) to the 3-Year or 4-Year Graduate Entry Medicine course.
  • The programme commences in Year Three or Year Four of the 6-Year Undergraduate Medicine course with all modules and training taught entirely in English.
  • To apply, candidates must submit their analytical academic transcripts and, if successful, there are no entry exams.
  • BNMU is highly established in Ukraine as a heritage medical training institution, the university attracts many international research fellows, and graduates work all over the world.
  • Students have extensive teaching and training in line with EU tertiary guidelines with one year of pre-clinical modules and three years of clinical rotations in Kiev.

+ What do the SME Clinical Rotations in the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA & Australia entail?
  • SME is a special opportunity for BNMU students to undertake clinical rotations for up to three years in hospitals and facilities abroad.
  • SME matches professional clinical rotations in line with the BNMU programme with placements in the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, and Australia.
  • BNMU students must apply to SME to be considered with the following:
    ○ Submission of their CV and relevant rotation preferences consisting of the location, department, and duration of the placement.
    ○ An official confirmation from their programme’s coordinating Professor authorising their application.
  • SME reviews all applications to offer students, based on the limited places available and in order of application received, in the clinical rotations.
  • Completing international clinical rotations enables students to progress further in their dynamic skill development while maintaining their clinical modules as well as establishing international networks.

+ What is the Graduate Entry Assessment Process?
  • SME facilitates the application and entry to Graduate Medicine Programmes in Ukraine for graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field with no entrance exams for successful applicants.
  • SME Assesses applications to the Graduate Programme with the following steps:
    1. Completion of the due diligence process on behalf of the medical university
    2. Comparison of the transcripts of the students from their past studies with the study programme of the medical university
    3. Submission of the comparison for approval to both the respective ministry of education and the medical university itself.
