Medical Studies in Bulgaria typically last 6 years, with the academic career structured in the following way: 2 years of pre-clinical study, 3 years of clinical study, and 1 year of state clinical practice or internship. After the completion of the programme, graduates are awarded the title of Medical Doctor (MD). Courses in Bulgarian Medical Schools are offered in English or Bulgarian, depending on candidate preference.
