How did you find out about Studying Medicine in Georgia?
Ricardo says that this was a word-of-mouth recommendation! He says, “I got to know about SME through some friends from the UK and the experience so far has been great! Any question or doubt that I had could be easily answered by a simple phone call.”
What was the relocation support for moving to study abroad in Europe like?Ricardo said that he was able to easily manage the move to Georgia with SME and this was a standout part of beginning studies at NVU, “SME helped me with the relocation process into New Vision, Georgia. When I arrived to Tbilisi, I had Araki from the local team to come and pick me up from the airport and took me directly to the hotel.”
How have you found studying medicine at NVU Georgia?Ricardo says that something that has a major positive impact is that options to contact lecturers are made readily available and they make students feel comfortable about getting help. He explained, “To study general medicine at New Vision has been a good experience because we get the chance to study medicine in a more individual, focused way.”
What is it like studying medicine with students from all over the world?
It’s a really incredible part of the experience, Ricardo says and talked about the international student community, “It’s always fun to compare and observe the different mindsets that everyone has.”
What was the Application & Relocation Support Abroad like?
Coldwell shared that the application process was easy from the moment she contacted SME. She said, “I applied through SME earlier this year in July. I composed an email and sent it off to SME, within 24 hours a reply was waiting for me. The admissions officer was fantastic and straight to the point.”
What helps you most with your Medicine Programme?
The resources that are available are really beneficial, Coldwell shared, “Our university portal is simple, straight-forward, easy-to-navigate containing all the necessary lecture and study material including the textbooks.”
What do you enjoy about studying in Georgia?
The city is a wonderful place to live, “Tbilisi is such an enchanting, beautiful, raw part of the world.”
