The Georgia Medical School Programme is designed to develop core foundational knowledge and clinical skills. Subsequently graduates are prepared for an international medicine career either in Georgia, the EU, the UK, the U.S. and throughout the world.

How Many Years do Students Study Medicine in Georgia for

The duration of the Medical studies in Georgia lasts for 6 years. It consists of three stages: 2.5 years of Basic Medical Science, 2.5 years of Clinical Science and one year of Pre-diploma Specialisation. Upon completion of all requirements over the 6 years, students will be become a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and obtain a master’s degree. The language of instruction is English.
