After the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports (MECI) receives one copy of the applicant’s admission documents, it issues the “Recognition of Studies for Enrolment to Undergraduate studies” certificate for EU students and the “Letter of Acceptance” for non-EU students. Once the Medical University receives the other copy of the applicant’s admission documents and the aforementioned document issued by the Ministry, it validates the candidate’s enrolment at the University, so long as he or she meets the entrance requirements. Then, the candidate has to pay the first instalment of his or her tuition fees at the University. Tuition fees can be paid in up to two or three instalments, depending on each University policy.
The “Letter of Acceptance” is required by non-EU candidates so as to issue a Visa and, subsequently, a Residence Permit.
