The 6-Year Medicine Programme

- The 6-Year Undergraduate Medicine Programme at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is open to applicants from all over the world.
- Aristotle University of Thessaloniki graduates hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) qualification and complete 83 study modules (76 courses and 7 clinical traineeship courses).
- The programme begins in October and there are two 15-week semesters per year (Winter and Spring).
- Students study three cycles of modules: pre-clinical courses for two years, clinical rotations and courses for three years, and clinical training for one year.
- For the pre-clinical modules, students study with professors and researchers and complete lectures, seminars and laboratories.
- Clinical modules are completed on-campus at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki hospital and city hospitals with lectures aligned with the clinical rotations.
- In the final year, students train intensively with clinical professors in hospitals and medical facilities.
- The undergraduate degree is in accordance with the EU Directive 2005/36/E and graduates have an EU and international medical license.

Admission to Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

Applicants must provide the following information:
- An application which includes the following details: bio, education history and course for which you are applying.
- A copy of your secondary education results with subjects studied.
- Personal statement or results of Cambridge Personal Style Questionnaire (CPSQ)
- Interview
- Documents from your home country confirming that you are authorised to study in Greece.
- Two small photos of 4-5cm.
All documents need to be translated into Greek to satisfy state directives.
