To ensure better job opportunities and career development many students, who have graduated in a filed related to medicine such as biomedical studies, nursing, pharmacy, dietetics and other relevant studies, they often seek to continue their education and accelerate their route towards a Medical degree. In these terms applying for a graduate entry in medical schools is one of the best options.
However, it’s very important not to get confused and be aware that “Graduate Entry” is Not “Postgraduate Medicine”. Postgraduate Entry refers to medical specializations while “Graduate Entry” refers to the underground study of medicine by using previous academic qualifications.
From this perspective Armenian Medical Universities are advantageous, as they allow students to enroll the 2nd or 3rd semester of English taught medical studies or dental studies without entrance exams, as long as the applicants meet the admission requirements (related field academic transcriptions of applicants should cover the subjects of previous semesters of medical studies respectively and the gap should not exceed 20 ECTS). In this case applicants get a chance to accomplish medical programmes in shorter time and therefor, with less tuition fees.
Graduates interested in applying for above mentioned courses along with other necessary documents should submit their degree and original transcripts of courses they have accomplished. These transcripts will be thoroughly examined by the admission board and the respective University, which determines the applicant’s entry.
