On October 11th 2018, the SME Team was at the airport to greet the students arriving with new found confidence after successfully passing their entrance exams. They were escorted to their hotel and once they were settled in, there was a briefing about their week to come. During the briefing directions were given on how to prepare all paperwork needed to open a bank account, get a SIM card and register with the University to receive their Student ID card and Student Books.
All students were accompanied to accomplish all necessary tasks and the highlight of the day was the tour of Sofia Medical University as well as a city tour so that they can be familiar with their new surroundings. The week ended with a thank you in trusting us and good luck in your new quest dinner, where SME ensured each student that they will be by their side for all their study years and will proudly help them start their careers as doctors when they return to their base home by proving assistance in registering with the medical council including analytical guidance on how to search for their first placement.
