Informative Open Day in Manchester
On April 28th, a very successful Open Day was hosted in Manchester by SME. With exams just around the corner and predicted grades out, hundreds of students and their families arrived ready to speak with our existing students at the universities that they had already chosen to go to. The kiosks were packed with people waiting to get information about their future studies.
The auditorium was packed as SME explained the advantages of studying abroad including the 4 year graduate entry program followed by Dr. Anil Sachdev sharing his life and study experience in Europe and his present success working as a doctor in the UK. Dr. Sachdev also explained in detail about the extra step that SME has taken to help students after they graduate and return to the UK. As more and more people arrived they patiently waited to be seated and even to provide them with extra chairs. The presentation ended with a lucky draw for two 50% scholarships, congratulations to the winners Justus Athnah and Sahan Sahabia.
After the presentation, the students and their families continued to converse with the SME team and the university students on a more personal level to receive information on any other queries that they still had.
