Applicants who apply to study Medicine/Dentistry in Ukraine don’t need to pass entrance exams. Rather, an admission committee will evaluate your suitability by examining your grades in school diplomas, especially in such subjects as chemistry, biology and physics. To be eligible for admission to a Ukrainian medical university, prospective students are required to meet the following requirements:

1. Diploma of High School Certificate

Every potential applicant should have a valid certificate confirming that he/she has received 12 years of schooling in order to be allowed to pursue undergraduate Medical or Dental studies in Ukraine. Postgraduate candidates should possess an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Diploma.

2. Decent Health

Candidates should submit a medical certificate proving they are mentally and physically fit to pursue medical studies at Ukrainian medical universities. Students need to submit this certificate along with their application documents. Upon arrival to Ukraine, they will need to get another certificate provided by a local medical clinic in order to get the residence permit.

3. Fluent English

As English will be the working language during the courses, a strong command of English is compulsory. Candidates for whom English is not a native language should provide a relevant language certificate.
