Students Ready to Study at Varna MU
On September 28th, all Varna Medical University students were met at the airport by SME’s local staff in Bulgaria and were taken to their hotel. Once they were settled, they gathered for a briefing explaining in detail what tasks they were going to accomplish within the following days. They were assisted in filling out necessary documentation so as they can open up bank accounts, get SIM cards, apply for residence ID cards at the immigration office and register with the university.
Within the next couple of days, all students had found private accommodations near the university and also had applied for internet access and TV cable.
On October 26th, once again, the students gathered to take a group photo and a “Welcome to the SME family and Good Luck in your Studies” dinner party was held. The Country manager also pointed out to the students that if they needed anything during the course of their studies, the SME team was always just a call away.
