New York Open Day Accomplished
On June 23rd, SME held its Open day in the Big Apple. Students and parents arrived to receive information about studying medicine, dentistry or veterinary abroad. They were able to converse with existing and graduate students from the different universities and have first hand information on what it is like to leave your comfort zone and travel to another country to pursue a dream.
All attendees gathered where an SME representative presented the pros about studying medicine in Europe, including the very popular 4 year graduate program for BSc degree holders. The presentation continued with information about the services SME provides to each student and time was allotted for a Q&A session.
The presentation concluded with a lucky draw where two guests won a scholarship covering 50% of the annual tuition fee for the full duration of their course, congratulations to Christian McRae and Wendy Gamboa-Gonzalez. After the presentation, the SME team and the students were there to converse on a more one to one basis with the interested students.
