Medical Job Fair attended by SME
On May 3rd, SME participated in the International Undergraduate Job Fair that was organized by Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Medical students attended the event to receive information about how they can start with their career as doctors or dentists in the UK or USA.
SME’s Postgraduate Team, Dr. Anil Sachdev and Hannah Jones was there to inform students about SME’s Postgraduate Support services which include but are not limited to the organizing of clinical attachments in hospitals in order to get UK or USA experience, support in passing any medical or language tests, detailed instructions on how to register at the medicine and dentistry regulatory bodies in the UK or USA, advice on how to build a well-structured CV and offer job interview training in order to improve the chances of being accepted for a long-term position, organize DBS check, occupational health and indemnity insurance, guidance with postgraduate training (such as ALS, ECG training etc) that will help you to beat the competition and be invited for an interview, support to find temporary & permanent positions in UK or USA hospitals.
SME also participated in the lucky raffle by donating two packages for SME’s Postgraduate Support services to two lucky students; Nerin Roshen and Williams Espinoza.
