London Open Day…Above and Beyond Successful!
On August 18th, SME hosted their last Open Day for 2019 in London. Hundreds of students escorted by their families wanting to apply for 2019 or 2020 packed the venue where they patiently waited to speak with existing students and graduates at each different university kiosk.
The auditorium was packed with people patiently waiting to hear the presentation about the pros of studying abroad including the 4 year graduate entry. The presentation continued with Dr. Anil Sachdev sharing his experience and journey of studying abroad and also presenting our postgraduate services that are offered to SME applicants when they return from their studies. The presentation ended with the lucky draw where two students won two tuition fee scholarships across the full duration of the course; Lakshmi Priya Kopudu Sridharbabu won the 70% scholarship and Ravindran Nishalini the 50% scholarship.
In addition, representatives from New Vision University in Georgia, Rector David Kereselidze, and the University of Belgrade in Serbia, Prof Milos Markovic, Ms Biljana Buljugic, Prof Natasa Milic and Prof Srdjan Lopicic were present to also converse with applicants and families.
After the presentation, students and their families were able to speak with recruiters and university representatives on a more personal level. The event was prolonged so as to cover the tremendous amount of people.
