SME's students featured in Daily Mail

Posted on 20 Apr 2017

The Daily Mail, one of the most circulated newspapers in the UK, recently wrote an article about the barriers that British students have in studying medicine in the UK due to the limited capacity and the high volume of applications received by Medical Schools. As a result, some of the brightest students decide to go abroad after failing to get into the UK universities.

Thandeka Xhakaza is one of those students who missed to get into a local university and, after contacting Study Medicine Europe, decided to move to Bulgaria to study medicine after being rejected by four British universities, despite achieving three A-level As. Currently she is studying medicine at Trakia University in Bulgaria along with 300 more UK students that SME helped to achieve their academic dreams.
